The SPIOMET combination improved ovulatory function, halved hirsutism scores, reduced visceral and liver fat, and normalized inflammatory markers with benefits lasting up to one year post-treatment. Critically, no clinical trials of GLP-1 receptor agonist monotherapy in adolescents with PCOS were identified, representing a major evidence gap.
